Sensual, Gorgeous Dream Bathrooms

What does your dream bathroom look like? All I really dream about is simply having a bathtub--we don't have one (yet), and I miss weekly baths terribly. So I dream...
A gorgeous India-inspired bathroom...

 BATHROOMS

Unlike with bedrooms and closets, my daydreams about bathrooms are not so specific. There are a few things I think the bathroom of my dreams would have to have (and not have!):
A bathtub. The bigger, the better, but not so big that I'd feel guilty for having more than one bath a week (to save water)! I'd have a large collection of spa treatments and bubble gels for long hot soaks... how, I miss baths!
Morocco-inspired garden tub. Love the rose petals...
A bath with a view would be nice, though it would have to have privacy. I love the curtained nook of this bath...
Modern, yet rococo furnishings like these...black marble tops...
Candles, lots of candles, for sensual candle-lit baths.  I love the gothic candelabras of this modern bathroom.
A lot of horizontal counter space and drawers, like these lavish Chinoserie cabinets.
Crystal knobs like these would reflect and shimmer in candle light...
And how cool would it be to have a fireplace and a plasma television in your bathroom? I'd have a rococo fireplace and hide the t.v. in a remote-controlled cabinet.
Despite how sexy this modern decor is, I find it a bit cold and clinical. I prefer warmth and romance in a bathroom...

And a dash of girliness...though not this girly!
This color scheme is pretty and dramatic...
But this is even more. Very gothic! Yet not as much as the most inspiring bathroom I've found, a very black, glossy, Chinoserie jewel-box, complete with chandelier:

...Sans the crazy pink shade though...wtf??

  1. I love the crazy pink shade! Looks like a flamingo ~ he he he! I don't think I'd have it in my palace though (unless it was black!)

  3. Wow! These really make my water-spotted shower look pathetic. ;) I truly love the last one - even the flamingo lamp shade!!!

I will be stealing the idea of the curtained nook for my tub area. I've been wondering what to do to make it look less cold... Thanks for sharing these lovely pieces of inspiration!

  4. I love the last bathroom, including the wtf lamp shade. It adds a bit of warmth and comedy value. Fluff is good. I'm generally not a fan of pink, but I do own a pink lamp(doesn't have fluff, but it does have fringe..) that everyone agrees to hate.. until they realize that it gives off a really mellow and warm light.

  6. That's a good point Eva..I didn't think about the quality of light a pink shade would give off, but it would be soft and sensual for sure..fitting for a bathroom.
